Almudena
Lobón’s education started in the
prestigious dance school "Doña María
de Ávila", in Zaragoza.
Under
the supervision of her teacher, María
de Ávila, Almudena learnt the art of
the great classical repertoires looking
in depth at both interpretation and
stylistics.
Her
classmates included the successful
dancing figures of Ana Laguna, Arantxa
Argüelles, Trinidad Sevillano, Carmen
Roche, Victor Ullate, etc.
Almudena
entered the Ballet Lírico Nacional (today
Compañía Nacional de Danza) when it
was founded under the artistic direction
of Victor Ullate.
After
having danced practically the whole
classical repertoire, she decided to
devote her knowledge and experience to
the education of both dancers and dance
teachers.In
1982 she opened her own centre in
Pamplona and ever since, the
Professional School of Dance "Almudena
Lobón" has boasted many successes.
The
dancing students Almudena Lobón has
entered in International Dancing
Competitions have always been awarded
prizes.
This
is further proof of the quality of the
work at the Professional School of Dance
"Almudena Lobón".
However,
contributing to spreading the love for
Dancing within Navarra through her work
and her assistants’, has been
Almudena’s biggest success. She has
somehow managed to make this magical
world full of poetry and harmony
accessible for young people of all ages.
